Food Waste Action Week

New Contract with Gloucestershire County Council

Andigestion Bishops Cleeve welcomed representatives of Gloucestershire County Council to site following the renewal of an eight-year contract to process around 24,000 tonnes of the countyâ€™s household food waste a year.

BISHOPâ€™S CLEEVE SCOOPS PRESTIGIOUS ABDA CERTIFICATION

Weâ€™re delighted that our Bishopâ€™s Cleeve site in Gloucestershire has become the first biomethane-to-grid plant - and only the second anaerobic digestion site this year - to be certified under ADBAâ€™s new scheme to recognise operational and environmental excellence.

Our annual Halloween pumpkin recycling project run in conjunction with Devon and Gloucestershire schools looked a little different this year due to Covid-19 restrictions but we were delighted to still be able to run remote pumpkin-themed competitions for KS1 and KS2 pupils.
